It all began 15 years ago...
On the lush mountain slopes of the Dominican Republic’s northern coast,
we planted our first cacao trees — a rare Trinitario subspecies.
This variety inherited the rich, complex flavor of Criollo,
and the resilience of Forastero — a perfect harmony of nature and strength.
From the very beginning, we followed the teachings of the legendary Austrian agro-ecologist Sepp Holzer.
Every seedling was planted with intention — directly into the living rainforest.
No chemicals. No compromise. Only harmony with nature.
The cacao trees grew side by side with avocado, guanábana, noni, and dozens of native species.
A living symphony. A food forest.
Now, after 15 years of growth, the trees nourish themselves.
Their fallen leaves — each rich in unique trace minerals — decompose into fertile soil,
layer by layer, season after season.
With rain, sun, and wind as allies,
the forest becomes richer each year — not just in harvest, but in spirit.

The cacao is ground slowly and gently — on traditional stone millstones, at a controlled speed that keeps the temperature below 42°C. This protects the vitality of the cacao and preserves all its natural magic.
