The perfect drying of cocoa beans by NiKola Kalida

One of the secrets of living chocolate

Based on our rich experience with cocoa, we created our own project and built a solar turbo dryer based on it. The dryer fully meets the quality requirements of Nikola Kalida. As a result, our cocoa beans are protected: 

  • From exposure to ultraviolet rays; - From the appearance of mold; 
  • From the ingress of pests such as mice, cockroaches, ants, etc. 


After each two-week cacao drying cycle, we carry out a perfect cleaning. After that, the dryer waits for the next batch of cocoa.  Thanks to the quality of sun drying, our cocoa beans do not need to be roasted. Grain retains the maximum amount of trace elements, and notes of the unique taste of fermentation. Such beans can be compared to fine collection wine.
